About the position

Psychotherapists at Lorenz function in applied roles, delivering assessment and intervention to clients of all types. Clinicians are free to function within their own areas of competence, specialty, or expertise. Our clinics are embedded on Main Street in communities with traditionally stark access disparities. Our client census is 43% Medicaid, and we have a sliding fee schedule that goes to zero. Our no-show rate is under 10%. In this role, you’ll provide intensive group psychological services to children. You’ll lead a trauma-focused early childhood day treatment team treating groups of children ages 3-6. Developmental Repair is the therapy model. Key job duties include but are not limited to providing psychological services including conducting diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and discharge planning for patients of the clinic. Attending and participating in regular case consultation, Grand Rounds, team meetings, and other meetings as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a trauma-focused early childhood day treatment team treating groups of children ages 3-6.
  • Attend and participate in regular case consultation, Grand Rounds, team meetings, and other meetings as required.

Requirements

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health profession from an accredited academic program.
  • Full, independent, unrestricted licensure as a mental health professional in Minnesota (LMFT, LICSW, or LPCC).
  • DC:0-5 Competent (strongly preferred).
  • At least one year experience providing day treatment services (preferred).
  • Prior experience in day treatment, in-home children's mental health services, or with models such as Developmental Repair, Reflective Supervision, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Functional Family Therapy (FFT) (strongly preferred).
  • At least 2 years providing clinical supervision (preferred).
  • Formal training in child, couples, or family therapy (preferred).
