About The Position

The Children's Pastor / Director at Authentic Life Church is responsible for nurturing the spiritual growth of children and their families. Requirements

• At least three years of experience in children's ministry, preferably in a church of 500 or more.
• Strong and growing relationship with Jesus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of the Bible.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the training, mentoring, and management of part-time staff.
• Participate in the leadership board of the Early Learning Center.
• Provide spiritual guidance to children, their leaders, and families.
• Oversee programs that help kids build a relationship with Jesus.
• Manage a large volunteer workforce.
• Plan special events for children and families.
• Develop the annual budget for children's ministry.
• Handle emergencies related to children's ministry activities.
• Build relationships with children and their families.
• Manage follow-ups with families and volunteers.
• Select or develop curriculum for children's programs.
