About the position
The Senior Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in providing engineering design and leadership for private land development projects within a well-established and growing engineering firm located in Manchester, Maine. The firm emphasizes a work hard/play hard mentality and is committed to exceeding client expectations through meticulous project planning and management.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing Civil Engineering design skills to prepare design plans, construction documents, reports, and other project-related documents.
- Preparing pressurized system modeling for various water and wastewater projects.
- Conducting roadway and drainage analysis/design.
- Overseeing residential, municipal, and commercial site development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering design and site development.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Software experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other applicable engineering design tools.
- P.E. is preferred but would consider a strong E.I.T who can obtain their P.E. within 12 months.
