About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed research, organizational, and communication skills essential for supporting our legal team in various civil litigation matters. This position requires a proactive approach to managing discovery processes, including the preparation and response to interrogatories and document productions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire discovery process, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. In this role, you will prepare and analyze document summaries related to employment, financial, and medical records, which are crucial for case assessments. You will also draft meet and confer letters and discovery motions, as well as prepare trial documents that are essential for court proceedings. Effective communication is key, as you will be required to interview witnesses and interact with outside counsel, staff, and clients to gather necessary information and ensure a smooth litigation process. Additionally, you will be tasked with organizing and compiling trial notebooks, conducting legal research, and performing cite-checking, including jury verdict research to aid in case strategy. Proficiency in various legal databases and software, including Westlaw, Essential Forms, and Trial Director, is preferred, along with a strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Responsibilities

Requirements
