About the position

The Umlor Group is seeking a Civil/Survey CAD Designer to provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for various site development projects. This role involves developing construction documents and plan sets for a range of projects including commercial, residential, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation. The ideal candidate will have civil design experience in a consulting firm environment and will work collaboratively with team members to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details in accordance with client, municipal and UG design standards.
• Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget.
• Draft and complete ALTA/NSPS Surveys.
• Draft and complete Exhibit B Drawings.
• Draft and complete PA 136 Surveys.
• Draft and complete Topographic Surveys.
• Complete redlines and plan revisions.
• Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Civil/Survey CAD design experience, preferably utilizing Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.
