About the position

The Umlor Group is seeking a Civil/Survey CAD Designer to provide AutoCAD design and drafting support for various site development projects, ranging from conceptual phases to construction documents. This role involves developing construction documents and plan sets for commercial, residential, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and project constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete sets of site development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D including site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans and details.
• Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials to identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget.
• Draft and complete ALTA/NSPS Surveys.
• Draft and complete Exhibit B Drawings.
• Draft and complete PA 136 Surveys.
• Draft and complete Topographic Surveys.
• Complete redlines and plan revisions.
• Research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, municipal, state and federal codes to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Civil/Survey CAD design experience, preferably utilizing Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
• Valid Driver's License.
