About the position
As a Class A CDL Fuel Truck Driver at Maverik, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel to our stores. This position is based in Elko, NV, and offers a consistent year-round schedule that allows you to be home daily. You will be responsible for operating modern fuel trucks, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining compliance with all transportation laws. The role requires a commitment to safety and professionalism, as you will be representing Maverik while on the road. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL fuel truck to deliver fuel to Maverik stores.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and transportation laws while on the road.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding fuel delivery.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with store personnel during deliveries.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and maintain records as required.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in fuel delivery or similar driving positions preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and transportation laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with fuel delivery or hazardous materials transportation.
- Familiarity with the local area and routes in and around Elko, NV.
