About the position
Robertson Heating Supply, a 90-year-old distributor of plumbing and heating products, is seeking a full-time Class A - CDL Route Driver. This position involves driving a 53' box trailer to various remote branch locations throughout Western Ohio and Michigan, with a mix of driving and warehouse duties. The role is primarily focused on local routes with no overnight stays required, providing a stable work environment with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 53' box trailer to various remote Robertson branch locations throughout Western Ohio and Michigan.
- Perform warehouse work including loading and unloading freight and putting away stock material.
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of products to designated locations.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Must have a Class A CDL and be at least 21 years of age.
- At least 1 year of semi truck driving experience required.
- Must have a clean driving record and up-to-date DOT physical card.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and random tests after hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
