About The Position

The Classification Officer Supervisor at the Youth Diagnostic and Development Center (YDDC) is responsible for overseeing and supervising Classification Officers. This role focuses on ensuring the development, monitoring, and consistency of multidisciplinary team processes related to the management of adjudicated juvenile clients. The supervisor fosters a supportive environment for staff to enhance the lives of CYFD clients through community-based prevention and intervention programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, guidance and counseling, penology, sociology, social work, or criminology.
  • Two years of experience in a correctional setting, military duty, classroom teaching, or related fields.

  • Experience in supervising recreational activities.
