Classroom Teacher / Art

About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to teach grades K-6. This position is a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) role that will allow you to inspire young minds through the arts and foster creativity in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for grades K-6.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress in art education.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
• Organize art shows and exhibitions to showcase student work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification for grades K-6.
• Experience in teaching art to elementary school students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Art Education.
• Experience with diverse student populations.
• Ability to incorporate technology into art instruction.
