Mass Commercial Cleaning, Inc. is seeking two dedicated Cleaners to join our team in Northampton, MA. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in two school and administration facilities located at 228 Pleasant Street and 97 Hawley Street. This part-time position offers a pay range of $16.50 to $17.00 per hour, with expected hours of around 20 per week. The role requires a commitment to uphold cleanliness standards through various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Cleaners will also conduct industrial cleaning activities and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. The position is essential for supporting facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance issues that arise during the cleaning process. The scope of work includes specific tasks during the school year and summer school sessions, totaling 185 days per year plus 26 days of summer school. Responsibilities include vacuuming and dust mopping all floor surfaces, mopping hard floor surfaces, spot cleaning carpets, dusting corners, baseboards, and windowsills, emptying trash, cleaning entrance glass doors, sanitizing desks and chairs, and disinfecting high-touch points. In restrooms, Cleaners will clean and disinfect fixtures, refill dispensers, and maintain cleanliness of mirrors and flooring. In the kitchen area, tasks include cleaning and disinfecting sinks, counters, and tables, as well as ensuring hand washing stations are clean and functional.
