About the position

As a Client Associate/Registered Client Associate at RBC Wealth Management, you will play a vital role in supporting financial advisors and clients within our branch. You will become a trusted resource for both clients and advisors, utilizing your administrative and operational skills to help manage and grow the business effectively. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating a client-first approach while adhering to compliance standards, researching and resolving client issues, onboarding new accounts, processing and maintaining account records, implementing technology changes, and preparing correspondence in a fast-paced, professional, and collaborative environment. In this role, you will build and maintain professional relationships with clients by assisting them with their inquiries and addressing account-related questions. You will take the initiative to handle account inquiries and customer needs, escalating issues to financial advisors when necessary. Compliance is a critical aspect of this position, and you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate account documentation while communicating with clients about any items needed. Additionally, you will facilitate the transfer of funds and securities, complete trades in client accounts, and process checks, wires, and ACH transactions in a timely manner. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or job-related experience
  • Strong soft skills including verbal and written communication, people, organizational, and client service skills
  • Attention to detail coupled with the mindset of how you can make advisors more efficient and effective
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses or the willingness to get licensed within 12 months of hire
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
