About the position

The Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley is responsible for providing exceptional client service and operational support to both new and existing clients and Financial Advisor teams. This role involves understanding firm policies and digital tools to enhance the client experience, safeguard client assets, and assist clients in navigating their finances. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and are eager to learn about financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily volume of inbound calls and emails from participants, providing world-class customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Strengthen and enhance existing client relationships through processing client requests and timely resolution of inquiries.
• Conduct outreach to maintain strong relationships with the client base and identify firm services that support clients' needs.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships through a referral-based model.
• Onboard new client accounts by collecting and inputting required documentation and client information.
• Apply firm verification policies and procedures to avoid identity theft and fraudulent activity.
• Recognize and mitigate risk while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/Equivalency; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Relevant industry and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedule between 6 am to 8 pm (EST) Monday-Friday.
• Ability to handle a high volume of requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
