About The Position

The Client Services Coordinator at Corpus Christi Metro Ministries serves as the first point of contact for clients, providing assistance and support in a non-judgmental manner. This role involves data entry into the Client Services Tracker database and represents the organization in daily interactions with various stakeholders, including the business community, donors, volunteers, and clients in need of services.

Requirements

  • Prefer a 4-year college degree with business-related coursework; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Three years of prior work experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to bend, stand, sit, and stretch for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Current Food Handlers Permit.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.
  • Must have a valid, active Texas Driver's License and be bondable.
  • Must pass criminal background and drug test required by employer.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with staff, clients, residents, interns, and volunteers to provide agency information on assistance, referrals, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Provide an accurate monthly accounting of bus passes distributed to clients.
  • Report activities and services provided by the Vineyard Social Services program to the CEO as needed.
  • Answer and screen incoming telephone calls, processing or referring them as appropriate.
  • Receive incoming mail and notify administration staff upon delivery.
  • Log in and check all agency contacts at the info email account.
  • Receive and maintain volunteer applications, perform data entry, and update volunteer files for the agency.
  • Complete volunteer time sheets.
  • Oversee the intake and distribution of in-kind donations, client mail, and other donations or services as assigned.
  • Schedule and maintain case managers' appointment calendars for potential and residential clients.
  • Assist other internal programs as needed.
  • Maintain current listings of local community resources.
