About the position

West Hills Animal Hospital, located in the San Fernando Valley is seeking an experienced CSR. The ideal candidate is a positive, empathetic person who can professionally manage any situation with a smile on their face. We are looking for a team oriented person with great communication skills and a desire to excel. This position has the possibility of advancement to full-time. Some of the duties of this position are as follows.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, empathetic manner.
• Participate as a supportive, flexible and enthusiastic member of the team.
• Answer a busy, multi-line phone system.
• Accurately schedule appointments, enter client and patient information, process payments correctly and email receipts to clients.
• Facilitate patient medication requests.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience working as a CSR in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Flexible availability, with some Saturdays required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Avimark software.
