About the position

The Client Success Manager II plays a crucial role in this transformation by serving as the primary point of contact for Data & Marketing clients. This position requires a technology-savvy individual who is energized by new technology and enjoys teaching it to others. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing and growing client accounts while prioritizing multiple objectives. Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success, the Client Success Manager II will engage in both technical and consultative roles, diving into systems to improve campaign performance and consulting with clients on their business strategies. In this role, the Client Success Manager II will manage and grow a roster of clients, utilizing a consultative approach to extract client business objectives and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential to accomplish objectives, and the candidate will need to demonstrate proven task management skills to onboard new clients rapidly. Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement to deliver a superior client experience is a key responsibility, as is articulating the value of data-driven digital media strategies. The candidate will also be responsible for training client users on core and enhanced product features and conveying customer product requests to internal teams. The position requires a self-starter with a sense of urgency balanced by attention to detail, who is comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment. The Client Success Manager II will also need to be willing to travel domestically up to 25% as needed, ensuring that they can meet clients face-to-face when necessary. This role is integral to Alkami's mission of empowering clients to grow confidently and build thriving digital banking communities through tailored experiences for over 18.6 million users.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of financial services or FinTech experience
  • 2 to 5 years of consulting, digital media, or client success experience
  • 3+ years client-facing responsibility
  • Superior written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding organization skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and analytical concepts effectively with tables, charts and presentations
  • Demonstrated success with analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven track record building strong client relationships, understanding client goals and objectives and growing client accounts
  • Responsible self-starter with a sense of urgency balanced by attention to detail
  • Comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25% as needed
