About the position

The Client Success Manager role at Gartner is pivotal in ensuring that clients derive maximum value from their subscriptions. This position is part of a dedicated Client Success team that adheres to a 'Client for Life' philosophy, emphasizing the importance of long-term relationships and ongoing support. The primary objective is to understand and address clients' business priorities, helping them navigate challenges and make informed decisions that enhance their operational effectiveness. The Client Success Manager will be responsible for onboarding new clients, demonstrating the value of Gartner's services, and fostering engagement with the products utilized by large client teams. In this role, you will build and manage relationships with a diverse range of clients, from senior executives to junior professionals across various business functions. Your efforts will focus on ensuring that clients successfully utilize their Gartner subscriptions, which will lead to increased customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will introduce Gartner's services and capabilities to new clients, effectively communicating the value proposition to decision-makers. Additionally, you will facilitate client calls to understand their priorities and recommend actionable programs that drive high value and return on investment. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with internal Gartner partners to overcome obstacles and maximize the value delivered to clients. Regular reviews of your client portfolio will be conducted to assess performance and key engagement metrics, ensuring that you remain proactive in addressing client needs and enhancing their experience with Gartner's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and manage relationships with a variety of clients ranging from senior C-levels to more junior client professions across various business functions.
  • Ensure clients are successful in the utilization of their Gartner subscription, resulting in customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Introduce Gartner services and capabilities to new clients and communicate value to decision makers.
  • Facilitate client calls, understand client priorities, and recommend a program of action that drives high value and return of investment on their Gartner membership.
  • Collaborate with internal Gartner partners to overcome obstacles and maximize the value Gartner delivers to clients.
  • Conduct regular reviews of client book of business looking into performance and key client engagement metrics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant professional and/or internship experience.
  • Proven track record of success fueled by a passion for delighting clients.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking, and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to have strategic conversations with top-level executives for Gartner Top-25 accounts.
  • Guided Territory, ITL experience is a plus.
