About the position

The Client Success Manager at Gannett Co., Inc. is responsible for leading digital campaign execution for clients, ensuring a positive client experience and achieving campaign results. This role involves collaborating with sales staff to advise clients on leveraging marketing solutions to meet their business objectives, managing client relationships, and overseeing the execution of marketing plans. Key success measures include client satisfaction, revenue growth, and account retention.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with client representatives through routine interactions.
  • Develop and advise on marketing strategies by understanding client expectations and identifying opportunities.
  • Lead the creative development process to ensure optimized messaging and advertising assets.
  • Proactively manage relationships with internal and external vendors to meet deliverables.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues while creating innovative solutions.
  • Drive campaign ROI and assist the sales team in growing accounts.
  • Manage client expectations, communication, and performance metrics.
  • Incorporate evolving technologies into the client solution delivery process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Advertising, or Public Relations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing online/digital advertising campaigns.
  • 3+ years of client service/account management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in client relationship management.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day campaign performance and assess trends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated expertise with USA Today Network marketing solutions, systems, and processes.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills to assess and improve marketing campaigns.
