About the position

The Client Success Manager (CSM) at WebMD Health Services is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of client programs throughout their implementation and lifecycle. The primary goal is to ensure smooth operation and alignment with defined program strategies, fostering high levels of client satisfaction through collaborative relationships. The CSM serves as the main communication channel between clients and the organization, providing program recommendations, supporting account strategies, and ensuring clients derive value from the services offered. This role requires a proactive approach, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of health and well-being program administration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational lead for clients throughout program implementation and lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Act as the principal communication channel between clients and WebMD Health Services for day-to-day operations.
  • Support defined account strategies and provide program recommendations based on best practices and data.
  • Minimize service issues through effective listening, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests, supporting program configuration.
  • Ensure clients are deriving value from solutions and services offered.
  • Utilize project management skills to coordinate the Client Delivery Team's commitments.
  • Maintain knowledge of WHS products, services, and industry trends to support clients effectively.
  • Identify process issues and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' work experience in Account Management, Consulting, or Implementation with client-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience in Software Technology Services or the Healthcare Industry within enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to manage time independently and balance multiple projects effectively.
  • Proven responsiveness and ability to manage client expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills.
  • Professional and client-friendly presence with proficient communication skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft, G Suite, and Atlassian products, with adaptability to new tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS degree and/or MBA, MPH, or Masters.
  • PMP/Project Management Courseware certification.
  • Familiarity with wellness, disease management, and health benefits administration.
  • Experience in best practices, implementation, project management, consulting, or business development in healthcare.
  • Background in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Program Management and/or program strategy experience.
