About the position
As a Program Clinic Nurse at Senior Life Solutions, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care within a behavioral health program. This position emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, community engagement, and compliance with healthcare standards to enhance patient care and program development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
- Engage the local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars on mental health issues.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice - required.
- Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
- Associates degree or above - required.
- Psychiatric Nursing experience - preferred.
- Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.
