About The Position

The Clinical Credentialed Trainer is responsible for providing comprehensive training and support to Bryan Health staff and providers on the Epic system. This role involves leading end-user training sessions, preparing training materials, and offering at-the-elbow support during system go-lives. The trainer will also develop eLearning content and maintain training coordination through the Learning Management System (LMS).

Requirements

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years' clinical experience required.
  • Adult education and classroom training experience desired.
  • Epic or other related EMR systems experience preferred.
  • Pass Credentialed Trainer (CT) credentialing program upon hire with a minimum score of 85%.
  • Valid driver's license required if assigned to drive Bryan owned vehicles.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications relevant to work functions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads end-user training using curriculum designed by principal trainers.
  • Prepares for class and sets up the classroom.
  • Follows up on outstanding questions from the classroom and collects feedback from trainees.
  • Helps principal trainers update training materials and creates quick start guides.
  • Tests lesson plans and trains environment build.
  • Facilitates study halls and personalization labs.
  • Administers end-user proficiency assessments and in-system checklists.
  • Supports end users with at-the-elbow go-live support.
  • Administers post-live refresher, optimization, and skills-enhancement training.
  • Assists with responding to IT Service Desk tickets and serves as a point of escalation.
  • Develops and maintains content for computer-based training modules.
  • Utilizes LMS for training coordination responsibilities related to end user training enrollment.
  • Assists with provider personalization and Dragon training.
  • Serves as an ambassador of the new system.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and workshops.
  • Participates in meetings, committees, and department projects as assigned.
