About the position

The Clinical Manager at The Village For Families & Children is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). This role includes providing administrative and clinical support, supervising clinicians, and leading department meetings. The Clinical Manager plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with program standards, managing budgets, and enhancing service quality through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the program and provide administrative and clinical support.
• Provide clinical supervision to clinicians and ensure adequate clinical coverage.
• Participate in hiring and performance management of staff, ensuring training needs are met.
• Provide clinical on-call backup for program and case coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to develop and monitor budget performance.
• Track completion of required documentation from clinical staff and ensure compliance with agency policies.
• Collaborate with other Village programs to enhance service quality and coordination.
• Represent The Village in community groups and network meetings as needed.
• Participate in management trainings to enhance supervisory skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or other licensed counseling degree.
• State of CT license required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, PhD/PsyD).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience providing clinical services; minimum of 3 years as a clinical supervisor.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of specific applications used by The Village and its referral sources.
