About the position

The Clinical Operations Manager at LifeWorks NW is responsible for partnering with clinical leadership to develop strategies that ensure quality patient care and efficient operations. This role involves overseeing clinic scheduling, managing workflows, and ensuring site needs are met while collaborating with various departments for timely billing and operational success. The position plays a critical role in communicating site needs to senior leadership and maintaining an effective service delivery environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities within the clinic, including managing clinical support staff and provider schedules.
  • Direct clinic flow and lead processes, operational policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a resource to clinic staff and consumers.
  • Ensure adequate staff scheduling for maximum efficiency and minimal overtime.
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership Team to address patient care issues and optimize clinic workflows.
  • Report operational issues and organizational opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Pull data reports and analyze results to monitor site/program performance.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team on quality initiatives and performance improvement.
  • Assist in management functions including interviewing, selection, orientation, and performance evaluation.
  • Promote a team approach to delivering quality patient care.
  • Represent LifeWorks NW at community meetings.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of healthcare and/or behavioral healthcare management experience (5 years preferred).
  • Supervisory experience in a community behavioral health or medical setting.
  • BA or BS in Health Care Administration or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Demonstrated organizational, administrative, and program development skills.
  • Excellent data analytics and computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to master proprietary software, including electronic health record systems.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain cooperative working relationships in a diverse environment.
