About the position
The Clinical Pharmacist position at Actalent involves being the expert on clinical issues within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical expert on pharmacy-related issues in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy and other staff pharmacists.
- Design, implement, and maintain pharmacy-related utilization management programs.
- Develop workflows and criteria for pharmacy operations.
- Ensure compliance with URAC accreditation standards.
- Review and approve prescriptions for providers.
- Evaluate the necessity of prescribed drugs and procedures.
