About the position

This position is responsible for performing moderately complex corrective repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and acceptance testing on all diagnostic imaging systems. The role also involves preparing diagnostic imaging studies to be transferred to a digital imaging environment independently, as well as performing installations of moderately complex diagnostic imaging systems, electronic image transfer systems, and associated equipment.

  • Conducts ongoing preventative maintenance of medical equipment by performing inspections and functionality tests of moderately complex medical devices and software independently.
  • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance of moderately complicated medical equipment and software, including replacing parts independently.
  • Responds to requests for maintenance that may require advanced judgment and discretion.
  • Maintains advanced awareness of the status of ongoing preventative maintenance activities, problems, and concerns.
