About the position

IQVIA is seeking qualified Registered Nurses for per diem clinical trial work in Fremont, Nebraska. This role involves visiting patients in their homes to assist with clinical research, collecting data and samples to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medications. The schedule for visits can be arranged to accommodate your current work commitments, ideally in the morning or early afternoon. We are particularly interested in PRN Nurses or those who already work part-time. During home visits, the nurse will be responsible for a variety of tasks including collecting samples, drawing blood, taking vital signs, conducting urine tests, administering medication if necessary, labeling and shipping samples, reporting adverse events, and inputting event notes post-assignment. The specific tasks may vary depending on the clinical trial being conducted. This position offers a flexible schedule, the opportunity to travel, and the chance to grow and expand into new opportunities while earning supplemental income and gaining exposure to clinical trials. Responsibilities

  • Visit patient homes to assist with conducting research and collecting data.
  • Collect samples and required information and data from patients.
  • Draw blood and take vital signs during visits.
  • Conduct urine tests as needed.
  • Administer medication if required during the visit.
  • Label and ship samples collected during the visit.
  • Report any adverse events observed during the visit.
  • Input reporting and event notes post-assignment.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in home state.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Recent experience in drawing blood.
  • Comfortable with basic software programs.
  • Flexible with time and available on short notice.
  • Ability to travel regionally by car, willing to travel up to 90 miles if needed.
  • Possess a cellular phone, reliable transportation, and access to the internet.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, or kneel as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pediatric Nursing qualification and experience.
