About the position

The Cloud Architecture Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leading the design and implementation of innovative cloud solutions, focusing on Azure infrastructure and platform services. This role involves managing complex projects, guiding development teams, and ensuring the integration of security measures into architectural designs. The position emphasizes a Cloud-first strategy and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement world-class products and solutions.
• Develop functional architecture design and contribute to product vision.
• Manage clients, complex projects, and drive business requirement gathering.
• Support the creation of interface specifications and call flows for various components.
• Provide technical support for analysis of business requirements and applicability to current or planned capabilities.
• Participate in end-to-end functionality assessment during validation testing phases.
• Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team, and developers/testers.
• Guide and lead development teams on implementation and improving the platform and solutions.
• Drive recommendations for business prioritization, roadmaps, and product improvements.
• Design efficient, secure, adaptable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.
• Embrace the DevOps way of working for continuous delivery and self-healing systems.
• Partner with Cyber and Security to ensure security controls are embedded into architecture/designs.
• Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility of new ideas and innovations.
• Lead project deliverables across multiple work-streams and guide projects with high quality and engineering discipline.
• Practice and enforce Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and designing for scalability and performance.
• Minimum 1 year of previous people leadership or project management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• TOGAF or SEI - Software Architecture Certification.
• Exposure to BI Tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Qliksense, and DI Tools like Informatica.
• Experience working with SAFe or Agile development processes.
• Experience with messaging architectures SOAP and REST with JSON text encoding.
• Strong experience with Azure and other cloud providers.
• Strong experience with PaaS and IaaS services.
