About the position

The Cloud Engineer III position focuses on designing and developing DevOps automation and tools, emphasizing maintainability at a large scale. The role involves analyzing requirements and improving existing mesh cloud DevOps systems, as well as developing and maintaining deployment automation scripts for platform applications, CI/CD, and infrastructure deployments. The engineer will lead problem identification and resolution efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality standards for product features.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop DevOps automation and tools with a focus on maintainability at a large scale.
• Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing mesh cloud DevOps systems.
• Develop and maintain deployment automation scripts for platform applications, CI/CD, and infrastructure deployments.
• Lead in the identification and resolution of problems and defects, driving them to resolution.
• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Integrate automation with build systems, artifact management, and deployment tools.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met for all product features.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud engineering and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools for deployment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with infrastructure deployment and scaling.
• Ability to analyze and resolve production issues effectively.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
