As a Cloud Support Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will be a key member of the AWS Support team, providing exceptional customer support for a range of cloud products. Your role will involve assisting global companies and developers in utilizing AWS services effectively, ensuring their mission-critical applications run smoothly. You will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex issues, drive customer communication, and contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes.

  • Solve customer cases through various contact channels including telephone, email, and web/live chat.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for customers.
  • Drive customer communication during critical events.
  • Partner with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for the developer community.
  • Coach and mentor new hires, and develop training programs.
  • Participate in new hiring and process improvement initiatives.
  • Work on critical customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or 3+ years of technical support experience.
  • 3+ years of network and operating system support experience.
  • 3+ years of virtualization, orchestration, and cloud computing experience.
  • 3+ years of database administration experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience with object-oriented languages.
  • 3+ years of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of distributed computing environments.
  • 3+ years of information security and compliance experience.
