About the position

As a CMM Programmer and Operator, also referred to as a Quality Control Technician or Measurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and precision of manufactured products. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing various measuring equipment to conduct inspections, interpreting engineering blueprints, and addressing complex manufacturing and dimensional challenges. This position is essential for maintaining the highest quality standards in production, as you will be tasked with inspecting various elements, features, and dimensions of products to ensure they meet specified tolerances and requirements. In this role, you will be expected to work closely with engineering teams to understand the specifications and requirements outlined in blueprints. Your expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) will be crucial in accurately interpreting these documents and applying the necessary measurements. You will also be responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform precise measurements and inspections. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key in identifying any discrepancies and providing solutions to manufacturing issues. Continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methods will be a significant part of your role, as the manufacturing industry is constantly evolving.
