About The Position

The CNC Machine & Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective maintenance of CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment, as well as the TSA facility. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure operational efficiency and safety within the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, vocational education or trade school preferred.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
• Formal training in the use of CNC controls, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical trades.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Formal training in industrial blueprint/drawing reading and interpretation.
• Understanding of industrial safety laws, codes, and practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical ladder logic diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Self-motivating, results driven with great attendance, and a positive attitude.
• Mechanically inclined with great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating the ability to take initiative and perform with an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) experience
• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain equipment including CNC machine tools, overhead cranes, plant air systems, lighting, HVAC systems, etc.
• Troubleshoot various electrical and mechanical issues.
• Assess machine faults and failures, recommend and implement improvements.
• Establish comprehensive Preventative Maintenance plans for all machines and equipment.
• Ensure proper inventory and supply levels are maintained for routine maintenance items.
• Other duties as assigned by site leadership.
