Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.
• Experience with G-code and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of measuring devices and quality inspection processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mazatrol Control or FANUC systems.
• Ability to perform prototype setups and make fixtures.
• Understanding of thermal expansion and its effects on machining.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine.
• Setup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints.
• Edit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol Control or FANUC.
• Setup fixturing and own set ups on machine.
• Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections.
• Setup cutters in holders and adjust height and length.
• Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specifications, and tolerances.
• Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements using measuring devices like micrometers, height gauges, and calipers.
• Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine.
