About The Position

The CNC Programmer position at Boulevard Machine involves supporting a CNC machine shop team in the production of aerospace components. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Competent in core manufacturing processes: turning and milling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage change effectively.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere and fill in other areas as needed.
• Basic understanding of special processes such as heat treating and plating.
• Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency in CAD and solid modeling, with Solidworks experience being helpful.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC code for 4 and 5 axis vertical and horizontal lathe/milling machines using Mastercam software.
• Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine optimal tooling and processes for manufacturing parts.
• Design fixtures for holding and processing parts as needed.
• Write instruction sheets and provide detailed process drawings and tooling lists for machine setup and operation.
• Oversee the technical direction of large projects moving through the shop.
