About the position

As a CNC Programmer at Prince Rubber & Plastics, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment, specifically focusing on 3-axis CNC Lathe, Router, and Vertical Machining Center (VMC). This role is essential in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall production goals of the company. You will work primarily on the first shift, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24 to $29, depending on experience and qualifications. In this role, you will be expected to utilize your knowledge of "G" Code CNC programming and CAD/CAM software, particularly Mastercam or similar programs. Your expertise in machining and tooling will be crucial in producing high-quality parts that meet our specifications. While we prefer candidates with at least one year of experience, we are open to accepting trainees who are eager to learn and develop their skills in CNC programming. The CNC Programmer position is vital to our operations, and you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production processes. You will collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues, optimize machining processes, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Appropriate education in CNC programming or related field.

  • Knowledge of "G" Code CNC programming.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, particularly Mastercam or similar.
  • Understanding of machining and tooling.
