As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines and/or 7 axis Mill Turn and Bar Fed Mills. You will maintain quality standards and schedules, follow instructions and standard procedures, and interface with engineering, department supervisors, quality control inspection, coworkers, and upper management. This role is crucial in ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the high standards expected in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines and/or 7 axis Mill Turn and Bar Fed Mills.
  • Maintaining quality standards and schedules.
  • Following instructions and standard procedures.
  • Interfacing with engineering, department supervisors, and quality control inspection.
  • Collaborating with coworkers and upper management.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines or lathes.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, tool steels, etc.
  • Experience in Autodesk FeatureCAM or equivalent software.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, if needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in machining hardened tool steels.
  • Experience with molds and mold components.
  • Experience in machining multiple grades of stainless steel.
