CNC Programmers at Natoli Engineering are tasked with writing programs for CNC machines, primarily utilizing Mastercam. This role requires the ability to multitask across various projects while effectively troubleshooting programming issues that may arise during operations. The essential duties of a CNC Programmer include generating CNC programs for machining tooling using Mastercam, troubleshooting programming issues directly on the shop floor, and investigating as well as implementing improvements in machining techniques. Additionally, the role involves drafting for gauges and cam grinding prints, as well as creating or modifying 3D models in SolidWorks. It is important to note that this list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, and employees may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. To be successful in this position, candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing and programming 3-4 axis mills and 2 axis lathes, with preferred experience in programming using MasterCam. The role demands a self-starter who is motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is also required.
