Responsibilities

• Program, set-up, and operate Mazak CNC machines.
• Produce newly designed parts with tight dimensional tolerances.
• Select workholding fixtures and cutting tools for precision machining.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools such as bore gauges and CMMs.
• Retrieve and edit Mazatrol CNC programs, calculating controls for machining processes.
• Operate pallet changers, robot arms, and bar feeders for medium or large batch production.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from college or technical school in Machine Shop technology or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Programming Mazak CNC machines in Mazatrol.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T experience.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds for machining various metals.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
