About the position

Loutech is an award-winning company that provides high-quality products to customers in the defense and aerospace sectors. We are expanding our exceptional team and have an opening for a CNC Setup/Programmer. The successful candidate will be required to program, set up, and operate various CNC machines with limited assistance and supervision in accordance with the established shop practices and product-specific Loutech procedures. As a CNC Programmer/Setter, you will be responsible for programming multi-axis, double and triple turret, dual spindle live tooling lathes, as well as programming 5-axis Haas UMC 750 machines using simultaneous milling techniques. You will set up and prove out programs on machines, and depending on complexity, may have to run production as well. Modifying and improving existing programs will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist operators and troubleshoot machines when necessary, working closely with the shop lead to improve production methods. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. Mastercam certification is required, and knowledge of Esprit and SolidWorks is a plus. A strong self-starter attitude, proactive communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team-based environment are essential. Attention to detail and the ability to perform repeat work with high precision are also critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • Mastercam certified.
  • Knowledge of Esprit and SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Understanding of Electrical Connector manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong pattern recognition capabilities.
  • Proactive communication skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to take pride in your work and show attention to detail.
