About The Position

The Parts Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction at Tony Group, a family-owned automotive dealership in Hawaii. This position involves assisting customers in locating the necessary parts, managing inventory, and processing orders in a fast-paced environment. The Parts Associate is expected to maintain high standards of service and contribute to the overall efficiency of the dealership's operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related experience preferred.
• Customer service skills are required.
• Driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive repair experience preferred.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in finding the parts they need, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
• Recommend companion parts to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure clear communication with all service technicians and other departments/management.
• Replenish inventory daily, monitor backorders, and manage will-call orders.
• Handle returns for unclaimed parts to keep everything organized.
• Pull requested parts and notify the manager if any items are out of stock.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts to maintain efficiency.
• Collect and record payments, ensuring internal part orders are billed correctly and issue refunds when necessary.
• Stay up to date on all required training to ensure top performance.
• Assist with generating estimates for repairs on used cars, including parts and labor costs.
• Learn how to open and close Repair Orders (ROs).
