About the position

The Comcast Business Intelligence Analyst Intern position is designed for students to gain hands-on experience in a leading media and technology company. Interns will work closely with the Business Operations team to support data analysis, reporting, and innovative data solutions, contributing to the overall success of the organization. This role offers mentorship opportunities and exposure to the daily operations of a Fortune 40 company, allowing interns to develop essential business skills and professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing scripts or other techniques to automate reporting capabilities
  • User acceptance testing of current and new tools
  • Research operational issues from a variety of systems
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analytics
  • Help build new, innovative data analytic methods to implement
  • Maintain and update current end user tools
  • Collaborate on presentations to key stakeholders
  • Conduct teaching sessions for our support and sales teams to educate how best to utilize our array of reporting and analytics tools
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
  • Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
  • Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship
  • Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

  • Programming language knowledge (SQL, Python and/or R)
  • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Preferred Majors: Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field
