About the position

15 Lightyears is seeking a self-motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and align with the company's core values. This role requires experience in commercial construction and a PMP certification, focusing on managing project budgets, timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop, drive, implement, and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Conduct cost analysis and estimate expected project costs.
• Prepare and implement a budget based on estimates.
• Manage subcontractor bid requests and contracting.
• Oversee on-site progress of both self-performed and subcontracted work.
• Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
• Ensure quality installations and drawings are executed.
• Drive customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and performance standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Commercial Construction Projects
• PMP Certification required
• Strong ability to read blueprints and determine materials/labor requirements
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Google Suite and AutoCAD

Nice-to-haves

• Electrical construction experience is a plus but not required
