About the position

Amarr, a part of ASSA ABLOY - the global leader in opening solutions, is hiring a driven, high performing salesperson for a commercial sales manager (CSM) position in the Northwest US and Western Canada. The CSM is responsible for managing commercial national and key/dealer accounts, as well as developing new programs for these accounts that will increase sales and profits. In this position you will develop and manage commercial customer accounts for rolling, sectional, and related product sales, including current and new sales channels. Create and develop processes related to the management of commercial customer accounts. Works with customer and management to provide and improve sales and service. Coordinate programs (sales, operations and training related) with service center, subcontract labor, support center, operations and door center personnel. Maintains, reviews, and revises costs, as well as relays price adjustments to all customers. Understand the internal workings of commercial customer accounts to build the overall business relationship with these clients. Provide analysis and planning to maintain and develop competitive position. Understand our competition in relation to commercial customer accounts. Perform all sales administrative functions. Establish and monitor sales reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Commercial garage door sales and field experience required.
  • 7-10 years in the garage door industry.
  • College education or related experience/skills.
  • Must live in territory (Northwestern US).
  • Must be comfortable working in non-climate controlled conditions and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license, with overnight and extended stay travel.
