About the position

C&N is seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our team as a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager I. In this client-facing position, you will play a key role in driving business growth by selling loans and a wide range of financial products to commercial clients. You will spend 70% of your time focused on sales and meeting goals, actively engaging with businesses in your community to identify opportunities to meet their financial needs. You will also collaborate closely with experienced Commercial Lending leaders on larger and more complex loan transactions as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Developing relationships with key influencers and managing loan delinquency.
  • Spending 70% of time focused on sales and meeting goals.
  • Keeping financial information current and conducting regular account reviews.
  • Maintaining an acceptable level of loan delinquency.
  • Collaborating with the Credit Department and applying loan policies.
  • Advising borrowers on financial decisions while improving credit analysis knowledge.
  • Following loan procedures and calculating total exposure within approved lending authority.
  • Reviewing loans that exceed authority with the team leader and highlighting potential risks before submitting them for committee approval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
