About the position
As an Account Manager on the Commercial Lines team at McGriff, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will be responsible for building and maintaining key client and carrier relationships. Your role will involve assisting assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, claims issues, and problem-solving. You will collaborate with the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive to monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients, provide analysis and recommendations of coverage needs, prepare and provide marketing information, complete the implementation process, schedule and conduct meetings, and prepare and deliver forms to clients. Additionally, you will attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to stay up-to-date on products and legislative changes, and participate in other projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships.
- Assist clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, and claims issues.
- Work with the Producer and/or Marketing Account Executive to monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients.
- Provide analysis and recommendations of coverage needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Two years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- Property and Casualty insurance license.
- Strong client relations skills, including excellent communication skills and service orientation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
