Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients to address all servicing needs.
  • Processing of policies, endorsements, and audits.
  • Enter policy data into our client management system.
  • Order loss runs for re-marketing accounts.
  • Become proficient in carrier web-sites for quoting when remarketing an account or adding additional lines of coverage.
  • Keep your desk and files organized at all times.
  • Perform superior customer service at all times.
  • Properly utilize the management system to keep track of all pending items.
  • Communicate with carriers for all underwriting matters, audits, endorsements, carrier recommendations, etc.
  • Expedite certificates of insurance if CSR team is short staffed and client needs immediately.
  • Run MVRs and update driver lists when required.
  • Prepare renewal rating quotes, based on applications.
  • Process and issue binders.
  • Attend agency and department meetings as well as training/education classes and sessions (both within the agency and outside the agency as directed).

Requirements

  • Commercial insurance industry experience and/or demonstrated ability to successfully handle complexities of job, required.
  • Experience working with Construction risks preferred.
  • Excellent business skills, required.
  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required.
  • Relevant insurance licensing.
  • Computer skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the job (i.e., spreadsheets, database, word processing and insurance software), required.
