We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to build, maintain, and grow a book of business while managing agency relationships and serving as the lead client contact. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing a marketing plan aimed at increasing both new and renewal business. You will rate, quote, and bind each risk to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for large or complex renewals as well as new business. Additionally, you will develop and submit underwriting referrals to our company brokerage facilities and Burns & Wilcox management. Monitoring key metrics will be crucial, as you will need to formulate corrective actions impacting new business hit rates, renewal retention, premium growth, and loss ratios. As a leader, you will also have the opportunity to train and develop Assistant and Associate Underwriters, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
