As we continue to expand, we are searching for a Commercial Support Generalist to join our amazing team! The Commercial Support Generalist plays a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring smooth and efficient management of commercial loan applications. This includes processing, mailing, funding, servicing, and maintaining loan files. You'll also provide exceptional member service, communicate with vendors, and represent the credit union professionally. As a key member of the Commercial Credit Administration Team, you'll support commercial lenders and underwriters, delivering top-notch service to members, credit union personnel, and retail staff. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will drive your success in this dynamic role.

Responsibilities

  • Send out appropriate disclosures (if necessary).
  • Prepare commercial loan documents for purchases, renewals, modifications, and changes in terms.
  • Fund and book loans via the data system at closing.
  • Disburse fees collected to appropriate vendors or institutions.
  • Produce and review recurring reports for exceptions, and perform research and file maintenance if necessary.
  • Maintain exception reports.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and any significant problems.
  • Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • One to three years of previous related experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to utilize Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with LaserPro, Sageworks, and Meridian Link.
  • Ability to work on numerous tasks simultaneously.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office, calculator, and telephone.
