About the position

As a Commercial Project Manager at American National Insulation, you will prepare material and labor costs, direct margin expectations, and confirm specifications and work scope. You will manage commercial and multifamily projects, working directly with architects, owners, and general contractors to offer value engineering options and challenge design and product specifications to mitigate potential risks. Your project management responsibilities will include procurement, performing site visits, preparing schedules of values for revenue recognition, and ensuring production milestones meet project budget objectives. You will also work closely with the sales team to design product configurations, generate estimates, create CAD drawings, and modify estimates based on customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material and labor costs, direct margin expectations, and confirm specifications and work scope.
• Manage commercial and multifamily projects, working with architects, owners, and general contractors.
• Offer value engineering options and challenge design and product specifications.
• Perform procurement and work with general contractors for appropriate sequencing of scope.
• Conduct site visits and prepare schedules of values for revenue recognition.
• Generate monthly requisitions for invoicing and production milestones.
• Collaborate with the sales team to design product configurations and generate estimates.
• Create CAD drawings of proposed designs and verify estimates for accuracy.
• Recommend changes to designs and incorporate customer requests.
• Review estimates with the sales team to ensure data accuracy.
• Provide estimates on change orders for current projects.
• Respond to customer and sales team inquiries regarding estimates and designs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a Company Vehicle.
• 3+ years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Prior quote and estimate creation experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP applications, preferably Oracle.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design configuration.
