About the position

The General Manager will oversee a location for Holland Roofing, focusing on acquiring new commercial clients and managing roof installation crews within the Roofing Service Divisions. This role requires strong organizational skills, extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, and experience in sales and customer communication. The position also involves travel to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain profit contribution by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress, making timely mid-course corrections.
• Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices.
• Represent the company in sales negotiations and service presentations.
• Build company image by collaborating with customers, general contractors, official entities, and employees while enforcing ethical business practices.
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
• Manage and coordinate field and office staff activities, providing direction as needed.
• Conduct employee evaluations and ensure proper training.
• Coordinate job schedules, equipment, and material delivery.
• Ensure project documentation is accurate and review contracts.
• Keep communication with the corporate office.
• Manage and supervise all production activities.
• Prepare required reports and attend meetings.
• Solve problems as required by management and business necessities.

Requirements

• Solid background in project management, supervision, and roofing administration.
• At least 10 years of experience in Commercial Roofing Systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sheet metal.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to identify issues early and work to develop solutions before they impact the project.
• Excellent communication, leadership, math, and cost control skills.
• Ability to safely climb a ladder.
• 30 HOUR OSHA certification, First Aid and CPR certification, and a Driver's License in good standing.
