About the position

The position involves driving specifications of HI-MACS (solid surfaces), Viatera (quartz surfaces), and HFLOR in the commercial and national account segments. This will be achieved through strategic methods throughout the commercial value chain, including working with architectural and design firms (A&D firms), facility managers, targeted end-users, and national accounts. The role requires managing projects from cradle to grave and securing purchase orders with commercial fabricators. Additionally, the position will involve identifying growth areas in the market, presenting LX Hausys products through company-sponsored presentations, and tracking projects using Salesforce, Construct Connect, and local resources. Success in this role necessitates close collaboration with Territory Managers (TMs) to discuss and close projects and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Drive specifications of HI-MACS, Viatera, and HFLOR in commercial segments.
  • Work with architectural and design firms, facility managers, and national accounts.
  • Manage projects from cradle to grave and secure purchase orders.
  • Identify key growth areas in the market.
  • Conduct presentations of LX Hausys products.
  • Report and track projects using Salesforce and other resources.
  • Collaborate closely with Territory Managers to drive sales.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Design, Art, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience representing luxury vinyl flooring for commercial projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in commercial & national account segments.
  • Current knowledge of commercial & national account segments in assigned territory preferred.
  • Proven sales and business development experience in relevant segments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Strong selling skills and commercial marketing knowledge.
  • Results-driven with focus on achieving goals/KPIs.
  • Ability to think and work independently.
  • Strong creative, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven event planning skills.
  • Experience with industry trade shows and lunch & learn events.
  • Effective time management and scheduling skills.
  • Understanding of the commercial value chain and project tracking.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and thrive in a team environment.
  • Logistically savvy about territory management.
  • Proven networking skills through business associations.
